# 14. How to recycle a Raider or Gear?

You can only recycle your **Raiders** or **Gears** for gems if you have more than 1 of the same kind.

To recycle a Raider, it must not have been used in battle. Gears will be automatically removed if they are equipped on the Raider.

To recycle a Gear, it must not be equipped on a Raider. Equipped gears cannot be recycled.
